Enjoy new works by local artist Jason Jenicke!

Gallery B is pleased to feature the work of local artist Jason Jenicke.

Jason Jenicke was born in 1978 in Kansas City, Kansas.  He began drawing as a child and grew to love and appreciate art at an early age.  Jason moved to Lexington, KY in March of 2010 with his wife Jennifer.  Since then he has become an active member in the Lexington art community.  Through this community he has continued to develop as an artist. In the studio his central focus remains the human figure, but new inspiration through animals and landscape have become a focus in his artwork as well. Jason’s goals remain, to find and capture life’s beauty in all of his artwork.

Judged "Best in Show" at Gallery B's "Spring Invitational" this spring, by well known artist Andre Pater, Jason has quickly developed a loyal following in the local area. We invite you to join us for this unique opportunity to be the first to view his latest works.

"Outrider at Keeneland" by Veronica B. Clark

Both artists recognized by The American Academy of Equine Art, their equine work is the perfect compliment to upcoming events in the Bluegrass, including the Fall Meet at Keeneland Race Course and the National Carriage Drive at the Kentucky Horse Park.

After suffering a stroke in 2006, Kathi still paints full-time.

2011 Lexington Cityscapes Paint-Out!

The event was a huge success with over 35 artists participating!

Gallery B hosted it's First Annual Paint-Out in downtown Lexington on July 30th for an outside extravaganza as artists took to the streets to paint "Lexington Cityscapes" - en plein air!

People were able to stroll around downtown Lexington to find artists with their easels set up painting both out of the way and familiar downtown scenes from 9 am -2pm on Saturday, July 30th.

The event offered a unique interactive experience to mix & mingle with the artists and enjoy downtown Lexington from a new perspective.

After discovering their favorite artist, everyone was encouraged to stop by the gallery to cast a vote for the "People's Choice Award", which was presented at the opening reception, which lasted from 5-8 pm. Saturday evening.

Thank you to Shorty's Urban Market for providing delectable treats at the reception!

We also would like to give a special thank you to Main Street Deli for providing lunches to all of the participating artists!
